ADINA SCRIOSTEANUPanel - Collective Management
Starting with 2009, Mrs. Mihaela-Alexandrina Scrioşteanu is Executive Director of Romanian Union of Phonograms Producers (UPFR) – afiliated member of IFPI – representing the recording industry worldwide. Also, she is Executive Director of Romanian Recording Industry Association (AIMR) and Executive Director of Romanian Union of Videograms Producers (UPVR).
Besides experience in the Collective Management Organizations and also anti-piracy association, Mrs. Scrioşteanu has more than 17 years experience in top and middle management positions as Executive Director, as Commercial Director, as IT Project Manager, Communication & Marketing Manager in IT & C and Commercial companies.
Likewise, she has gained experience in the management of EU-financed projects in the IT&C sector within the innovation and e-Business department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Romania.
Mrs. Scrioşteanu holds a Degree in Mechanics from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (1995), a Degree in Public Relations and Communication (2003), as well as a Master’s Degree in Project Management (2005), Human Resources Management Diploma, she is certified as Internal Auditor Quality Management Systems (from 2004), currently finalizing courses and preparing to obtain the license in Law.
She graduated specialised courses in project management, leadership management (courses organized in Romania under the aegis of LMI-USA), internal and international courses in sales and marketing.
Starting with 2009 she attended at more than 15 Performance Rights Comittees Meetings organized by IFPI with Best Practices from Collective Management Societies over the world and attended at 14 European National Gorup Directors’ Meetings organised by IFPI representing the recording industry.
Also, she hase been involved in many projects at national and international level regarding best practices in copyright for a better knowledge and applying of Copyright Legislation, projects in collaboration with WIPO, Romanian Copyright Office, Ministry of National Education, US Embassy.
Starting with 2013, she represents the recording industry in the Transparency Register at European Parliament level.
