  • Songwriter, singer, performer, arranger, publisher, producer, actor, poet, was born on May 31, 1954, in Braila; graduated Theater Studies at National University of Theater and Cinematography in 2010;
  • Studies music privately with teachers as Adrian Enescu and Johnny Răducanu;
  • În 2004 is decorated for his artistical activity with „Cultural Merit with Knighthood Level”, cat B (1094/10.12.2004)


  • Since 1973, has performed over 5000 concerts in Romania and abroad (one of which was opening for Bob Dylan in Bucharest in 2010);
  • Has released 55 studio albums, and compilations:
  • Has released 2 live DVDs
  • Wrote music for 118 theater shows;
  • Wrote music for 17 movies (short, medium and long, documentaries as well as feature films)
  • Release 5 books (one of which as audiobook as well)

Independent Publisher and Producer

  • All his music is self-published and self-produced;
  • As a producer he has licensed several record companies with his music: „Electrecord”, „Intercont Music”, „Nemira Music”, Nova Music Entertainment”, „Roton”, „Casa Radio”, „Real Sound & Vision Studio”, „E-Media One”, but has also produced several albums under his own label called (between1990-2004)”Toji Productions”, later „FNAmusic” (2005-2012), and since 2013 „Alifantismusic”;
  • Produces several artists and groups: Divertis („Asa ceva nu există”, 1991), Celelalte cuvinte („Se lasă rău, 1992), Gef (Porto Franco, 1992), ABRA (The best of… vol.1, 1998, vol.2 1999), Ana Pătan („Să fii fată în Gara de Nord, 1999), Euro Inter Trade (DVD prezentare Volvo, 2001), Vali Răcilă & Raul Kusak („Handmade blues”, 2011).


  • During his 45 years long career, he receives more that 30 different awards for his musical activity.
